An opening event in Kyoto, with machines in the field and partners on the ground.
IginTech® opened its Japanese market this week at an event in Kyoto, attended by partners and invited guests.
Japan is a demanding market by reputation. Technology entering it has to be precise, reliable in ordinary use, and compatible with workflows that already function well. Arriving with operational machines and an established local partner is the standard the market sets, and it is the standard we held ourselves to.
Our partner in Japan is OGAWA Iriki Co., Ltd. A second purchase order has been received and first end-customer sales are complete, with a commitment for 70–100 machines by the end of 2026.
The event itself was less about the technology than about what sits behind it. For the clinical staff who will use the system daily, the question is not what it automates but whether it can be relied on — every time, without their having to think about it.
Japan is the first of our signed territories to reach an operational launch. The work now moves from launch to deployment.
